What's the difference between oregano and greek oregano?

The biggest difference: the taste. Regular oregano that you find at the store is most likely Mexican, but there are many different kinds from Italy, Spain, even Turkey. Oregano from Greece tend to have a robust flavor, but can also be sweet or more peppery than others. Greek Oregano can be earthy, when most people are used to the mild Italian.
